Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you could evaluate my profile. I am most interested in my chances for the following schools: Kellogg, Tuck, Columbia, Booth, Sloan, Darden, Duke, Stern.I would love any feedback or insight into schools you think would be a good match.

GMAT: 700 (48Q/38V/6AWA/7IR)
GPA: 3.2 in math from top 25 school (it's one of Johns Hopkins, Tufts, Emory, Rice)

Work experience: 4 years (5 when start) at a well known tech company in New York (think Spotify, Jet, Grub Hub) in biz dev.
Promotions: Two promotions, I manage direct reports

Essays: Strong; where applicable discuss my two parents death in car crash and how I volunteer for MADD as a result
Recs: Strong, from a Stanford grad and a Kellogg grad who told me they'd write great recs. Former supervisors

Volunteer experience : Volunteer once a week for MADD, run support group for victims of drunk driving in NY area
Current extracurricular: Vice President of office marathon team
College Extracurricular: Captain of varsity tennis team, member of squash team

Thanks for sharing your profile. You have a solid profile but on paper nothing that will make you stand out too much. Now that is not a negative just means you will need to do some work in your essays to really stand out and it seems like you have some essay fodder to do that

Kellogg - NO, Tuck - NO, Columbia - NO, Booth - NO, Sloan - NO, Darden - YES, Duke - YES, Stern - YES

NO - here just means on paper it is unlikely
YES - just means more likely than not

None of your schools are out of the realm of possibility just the data points are not in your favor given the GMAT/GPAs and competitiveness of the programs
