Maybe most students who benefitted from egmat were already at a good ability level.

GMATaxe001 - plausible, but not likely, unless we figured out a magic wand to sweep out all the smart students from GMAT Club:). Here is why:

2021 Stats

As of September 18, 2021, GMAT Club members have reported approx. ~280 (700+) scores for 13 GMAT Club partners. ~155 of these are e-GMATers and ~70 from TTP’s students. The other 11 partners together account for the remaining 55 or so scores. Again, my count may of off by 5%, but you get the story. You can verify this data on GMAT Club’s review portal.

BTW - the numbers last year were different. TTP's students reported a few more (about 15% more) 700+ scores than our students did.

You can also go to the partner's YouTube channel and see the corresponding difference in both the number and the regularity with which debriefs are posted. You will notice a very similar ratio.

Also, the GMAT is not a test of intelligence (i.e. not rocket science). Rather, it is a test of diligence. Students who put in the effort in the right direction generally ace the test.

Below is a recent example. He is a smart student yet failed to improve beyond 690. The moment this student started to pay attention to error logs, he improved.

Congratulations on the absolutely jaw-dropping improvement, immensitas! And thank you for the shout-outs.

I hope that you recognize just how incredibly rare a 270-point improvement is. Seriously, I don't think that more than a few dozen people make that type of journey each year, and I hope that you've found time to celebrate your butt off. It's one heck of an achievement.

Also, this cracked me up:

Quote:
I remember when starting my journey almost a year ago some GMAT "expert" friend of mine told me non-natives don't ever get a score of 700+ because the verbal section is simply too hard for non-natives.

That's deliciously ridiculous.

Congratulations again, and good luck with your applications!

Congratulations on achieving 740! I totally agree with you mental and/or physical fitness has a tremendous impact on score. Best of luck to your admission process.

Hi immensitas,

Improving from 470 to 740 is truly amazing! You should be very proud of such an accomplishment.

Also, I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed both TTP quant and verbal. We've worked very hard to produce the course, so I'm beyond happy to read about your success. If you need anything from me or team TTP in the future don't hesitate to reach out.

Congtrats!!

You were right Rajat. I am happy to take my words back. I have enrolled in the e-gmat course again (after Jul 2019) and got what I was just looking for. Maybe I was frustrated for while, which I will honestly accept. Please accept my sincere apologies. I hope to perform well now with the support data driven insights. Please note : I absolutely loved the new RC strategic review videos by Harsha!
