AnthonyMason that is a great technique! I wish I had thought of doing that. Recording yourself actually speaking would make for a more genuine introduction :-D best of luck!

My essay ended up around 900. My first draft was 1400 so I ended up doing a lot of editing. I had two major stories I wanted to thread into the essay so it took some doing. Ultimately, I wasn't actually all that happy, but it wasn't going to get much better.

Should we expect to see an update in the "recent activities" section in the application page after they read the application or is that just to reflect if we are invited/dinged etc.?

HBS is such a wild card. I love their transparency and desperately want to join the ranks, but it is difficult to see how they will handle my app. I hope they are serious about what they say about the GMAT!

Hey guys, is it just me or is this year's R1 Gmatclub count low compared to previous years? This year it reads 405 vs. Classes of 2017 and 2016 which had 500+.

Is this because (1) people tend not to update their profiles until after interview stage, (2) there actually are fewer applicants from gmatclub this year (whether or not that reflects the general application pool), or (3) more people are pushing to R2 due to the early-ness of this year's 9/9 application deadline?

What do y'all think?

There should be an update by the 14th. Somewhere in the recent activities once you login. If they don't send you an invite tomorrow, your page will just remain as it is now
