I applied in R3. It's frustrating to be on wait list despite 7 years of ops experience and decent GMAT 700. I could see many R1 and R2 wait list with good profile. Don't know wht the admission committee is looking for.

Both of you have a very strong profile.

I did eng from IIT-R: Batch topper
Gmat- 720

Work ex- Product Manager with Microsoft for 4 years (1 of which was in Texas)

Working with Samsung for last 2 years.

I got admitted yesterday through checking the status online, haven't received the official acceptance letter jet. I am ready to join the program, will accept the offer.

Come from China and have been working in Europe for 5yesrs as international sales and procurement manager in a middle size German company. Was Also representative in China for the company. with two master degrees from European universities.

That makes it three admits.
Does anyone know how many students in total have been admitted from all 3 rounds?
I see most are waitlisted even from round 1 and 2.
And when can we expect to hear from the school? As we have to start the visa process also if we get selected and i've been told by many last year students that the entire visa process takes around 3 months.

I am R2 waitlist and haven't heard back from school. Worst thing I want to highlight abt this program is the longest wait period . There are candidates waiting since Mid April. College should target some realistic deadline for international candidates, though program covers predictive analysis as well :shock:

what schools you have applied to Sid ? I assume you applying for Fall 2017 .

That's what i have seen too in the group.

Most people from round 1 and round 2 got waitlisted and yet to hear from the school (unless they did and didn't updated their decisions here on the forum)

I'm applying to Broad, Tepper, UNC and UCLA MBA programs for fall 2017

Congratulations to all those who have been admitted. And to those who didn't make it, please don't give up and try again next year.
After your reading your various profiles and experience , I feel that it is highly competitive and almost a nonstarter for students who have little or no experience.

Anyone heard back from the school?
I talked to Eric and he said the school will finalise the admissions in the next 15 days.
He said there are still some vacant seats, so there is still hope guys.

That's really good news but I am wondering why vacant seats after R3? For whom School is waiting ? That's totally counterintuitive.
When you talked to Eric , Sid ? Was it through Skype or telephone?

I talked to Eric on phone.
Apparently they have applications coming in even now. They have an option of applications even after round 3.
However considering it's already 27th and all the applicants who got admitted in round 3 were asked to confirm by 25th, i guess it's fair to say that it's a ding now.

I heard one more guy get to contact with Eric. Adcom is trying to accommodate maximum number of waitlist candidates and to this effect contemplating increasing intake as well. Can anyone confirm the number of matriculated students thus far ?And any idea about how many wait lists ?
