Hey Everyone,

Really happy to see so many enthusiastic aspirants. Before you start attempting the questions, here are a few tips.

1. Focus on your accuracy before efficiency.
2. Visualize what the passage you.
- For any argument/passage, you should be able to
o Understand which sentence plays what role (premise which impacts conclusion, conclusion, statement that adds context without touching the logic)
o Understand the structure of the argument/passage:
 What is the conclusion?
 What is the author’s logic or logic of the argument?
 What can be challenged (say, claim/opinion), what cannot be challenged (say, fact)?
o Be able to explain the argument/passage in your own words

- The last point is the acid test. Are you able to correctly express the argument/passage in your own words? i.e. would you be able to explain this argument in your own words to a friend without having to refer to the argument?

This, when done properly, will ensure that you have a concrete understanding of the given passage and your pre-thinking will similar to the ones we do.

And lastly, analyze where you made mistakes and keep an error log.

Good Luck to you all!

The list is updated automatically every month.
The system updates the questions, links, and title of the topic to reflect the latest month. It is an automatic process but it is recorded under Sayatan's name

100 Hardest and easiest questions for CR as of April 2022 [#permalink]
How is hardest determined?
Is it just raw % of test takers who get the answer wrong?

If so is there a certain number of attempts required on the question for it to make it in the list? I imagine a question with one wrong answer and no right answers [0% correct responses] wouldn't immediately appear at the top of the list.
Additionally does it factor in time taken on average before responding into difficulty?

Thanks for any insights on this.

It's a weighted average which depends on number of parameters such as the number of timers (attempts) for a questions; attempt time; ... Also, there are the minimum number of attempts requirement and the minimum attempt time requirement for a question to get the automatic difficulty.

Hi Bunuel - thanks for the clarification! Sounds like a good system.

I was wondering if there is any possibility of generating a top 100 list that draws on only OG, or on just OG/LSAT materials?
No worries if that is a lot of leg work, but I was just wondering how I might do this myself if possible. I know I can sort by 700 level, but was wondering if there was any way to sort based on timer responses as you have.
