“So as” is never correct on the GMAT , never consider it a good answer....

IMO, usage of both "enough" & "so as to" is redundant.

so as to : denotes cause & effect. Thus enough is not needed.

A. so talented as to comprise : as explained above
B. so talented they comprised "they", pronoun error, alters meaning
C. so talented that they have comprised wordy, alters meaning
D. talented enough so that they comprise they
E. talented enough so as to comprise explained above

IMO A

A also includes "so talented as to".If "so as" is incorrect, then A should be wrong as well. Can you please explain what i am missing?

Hi Megha P,

So as ..to usage is correct. These are common traps as per Veritas Prep.

The following links has similar examples, it may further affirm the idiom usage.

immanuel-kant-s-writings-while-praised-by-many-philosophers-197240.html

Check Brian's explanation (Veritas Prep) on this :

Hope this helps.

B. so talented they comprised
C. so talented that they have comprised
D. talented enough so that they comprise
E. talented enough so as to comprise
