Either it should be differences between A and B or A is different from B... so (E) is the only answer choice that fits. Also (D) can be eliminated as "are" is written though the subject is plural.

It's a nice question and I could do it.But in the option D use of "Yet Most are/is"..Here Is the most is referring to The genetic code ???

Can any one please explain me how verb subject/noun matters when some verbs used after All/Some/None.. (sanam) words?
Please some examples would be grt.

Dear sanjeebpanda,
In that sentence, the "most" referred to "most of the genetic code of hominids", an uncountable noun, which is singular. Whenever a SANAM word appears alone in the second half of the sentence, it is always referring to something in the first half of the sentence, and you often have to use logic to figure out the exact nature of the comparison. You can see more examples in the link I posted in the question at the top.

Here, principle conjunction is "and" and the word "yet" is an adverb that adds emphasis. And, yes, "yes" could be used as a conjunction on its own.

The GMAT prefers ''from'' instead of ''with''.

Can you please help me understand how to choose between differences of A from B and differences of A with B?
I was down to C and E but ended up selecting E.
