Caraxes
How many applicants out of 100 are called for interview rounds? (any idea about the success rates for previous years?)
Caraxes INSEAD does not disclose its acceptance data. But I have heard during my time on campus that the applications for the Jan intake are slightly more competitive because of two reasons
1) the opportunity to do an internship. Folks targeting IB and career switchers are the most serious for Jan intake2) relatively less interest from sponsored or non-sponsored consultants who flock in huge numbers in the September class, potentially also increasing the acceptance rate for the Sept intakeIf the wide perception is that the INSEAD acceptance rate is ~30%,
I would say the acceptance rate for the Jan intake is lower, somewhere under 25% basis some past data and perhaps even at 21% during some very competitive years when the job market isnt great and the number of applications increases, although the school never officially discloses. Assuming a high interview conversion rate in the 60-70% range, because INSEAD is self selecting with specific criteria it lays upfront -language, international focus etc., I would say roughly 30-40 people in 100 will recieve an interview invite. A lot will depend on your nationality too. But overall the acceptance would be lower for the Jan batch (my guess is between 21 and 25%).
Best wishes
