Got interview invite. From the email, it suggests online interview. Is this the case for all regions? (I am based in China).
Yes, it is the same for all regions.

Before the pandemic, it was mandatory to conduct the interviews in person. INSEAD was very strict in this regard. During the pandemic, there was no choice but to conduct the interviews online. And now, they leave it up to candidates and interviewers to decide, but by default, they can be online.

Good luck with your interviews.

Warm regards

Thank you Alex! Can I ask, in your experience, what percent of interviews result in admission? I see the ~75% figure thrown around a lot. That seems high but I guess plausible given the sheer volume of essays / video interview etc. there is probably a large initial cut?

I received a similar response for HEC. GMAT:680
Later, I submitted EA 157 instead and received an interview invite. Interesting INSEAD is doing this.

Who is your AO?
Similar profile. Indian based in US. Tech and Ops background. Waiting to hear from my AO

Hi all, want to share my profile and understand chances to get approved

I have my company sporsorship, ~4 years of strategy consulting & payments background from LATAM (Brazil) and men (no diversity)

Just scored 625 o GMAT focus (geral 82th percentil, 59th quantitative reasoning, 91th verbal reasoning, 86th data insights)

Do you guys thinks it’s feasible to be approved? Planning to apply for R2

@bschool2021 For someone they would really want to have in the INSEAD cohort, I don't see why the adcoms wouldn't give honest feedback to the applicant. There are no strict rules stating that only absolute decisions must be communicated. It can be an interactive process as well, especially if the applicant has a very strong profile but may need to address certain aspects that are non negotiable for INSEAD, for example a very bad quant score.

Best wishes

@BrazilianBaker As a sponsored student from LATAM with a background in strategy consulting, you could be a star candidate for INSEAD. But your quant score seems to be an anomaly here. What happened? The adcoms would likely want an explanation, and perhaps even a retake or proof of improvement via relevant calculus courses. I hope you can look into that. INSEAD is quite particular about quant scores. You should atleast be around your country's average.

Best wishes

Hello BrazilianBaker,

Hope this finds you well.

The company sponsorship as well as your experience in strategy consulting will definitely prove to be advantageous.

Having said that, your quantitative score is a bit concerning and will need some major explaining; thus, for your best chance, you must work on your quantitative score and then apply.

All the best!
