I don't know about the admissions office, but as per their admissions blog, the technical support team at Darden will be open throughout the day.

Just submitted the application. I was getting errors for some missing details which mostly was incorrect.

When I did hit 'Submit' again, it went through successfully. Keep trying and all the best everyone!!

Nightmarish time for me!! Even after notifying my recommenders well before, one of them has still not submitted the reco!! Now there's only 2 hours left.. God help me please!

You usually have a few days that adcoms give your recommenders before you get pushed to the next round. Even still I would push your recommender (as much as possible) to get it in tonight or tomorrow. Also I would call to confirm (after you get a hard commit on when your recommender will submit), in case Darden does not have this buffer. I know most schools do, but it does not hurt to confirm.

Yeah most school do provide some extra time for recos. In Darden's website, however, its clearly mentioned that they strongly encourage the recommenders to submit the reco 1 day prior to the deadline. Wonder why.. I'm still pushing my recommender.. If not then I'd have to call the admissions office and beg them to accommodate my reco which was kinda out of plan for me.. But anyways..

Phew! Reco submitted finally.. 16 minutes late but thats okay, coz I found this from Darden blog:

Answer: In order for your application to be considered complete, we need to have received two letters of recommendation. If your recommendation writers are a day or two late, that is okay, but we need them in by the 19th.

We recently interviewed Associate Director of Admissions Wendy Huber about the admissions process.

She answers questions about application requirements, what NOT to do on your application, MBA financing, summer internships, new initiatives at Darden and more.

After submitting the Darden Application is there any way to check the Application Status ? Applied in R1.. Can you guys give any headsup when can we start getting Interview invites (or dings) ?

I wasn't able to log into the portal after the deadline passed.
I'm not sure if this is the same for everyone. I'm assuming they'll just handle everything via email from now on.

Well, I'm able to log into Simplicity, but all that it says is Application Submitted (on the Home tab, after loggin in)...

Haven't heard any dates from Darden as to when we should start seeing some action...Eagerly waiting!!
