I’m a Indian Applicant with an Year experience in a US Bank as Analyst. I have a good GPA as well. I have taken up very crucial roles in student council of my college. But my GMAT score is 650 and I want to apply for ESSEC. Do I have a shot at it or should I retake the test?
retake if it’s for either MiM or MoF

ah i see, we changed the name of this group from 2021 to ’22, pretty clean :D

I am guessing you are asking for MIM. If I am judging solely on the basis of GMAT,I would definitely suggest that consider retaking. 680+ is a minimum but 700+ is what you should aim for to maximize chances and keep the margin for increased competition

Oh I just saw your message xD

if you come from SE Asia, pls retake if you don’t think you’ve got anything on your CV that makes you unique (this includes international exp. which unis apparently seem to have a hard on for)

Also, something I have noticed about ESSEC, R1, R2 and R3 are more or less equally good to apply. I didn’t see any significant increase in selectivity among the 3 rounds for ESSEC. So if you come to a positive where you are considering applying for R2, you can go for it(in my opinion)

True that. But only if you are confident about your application.
