Regarding waiting times for online retakes: I believe that the official site states that a testtaker needs to wait for 16 calendar days to schedule a retake online from the last online test. But testtakers can schedule an in-center test (test at a physical testing center) independently of when they take the online test. Separate waiting times apply to the in-center tests.

Incorrect information continues to be displayed on the official GMAC site.

Please note that online exams now count toward your 5 times in a rolling 12-month period and 8 times in a lifetime limits.

... and of course all others following this thread.

Is it adviseable to either speed up quant slightly and use the last 2-3 minutes on the last online GMAT quant questions to just 'relax' and zone out for a couple of minutes? I also have the tendency to finish verbal quite early, so timing was never the issue.

I thus think about shaving the last 2-3 minutes off of quant and the first 3 minutes off of verbal to get at least somewhat of a break in. Recommendable?

I think the better move is to start taking practice tests in this way, so you can start to train for the lack of break provided with the online GMAT.

When I attempt to register for an online exam, it says:

"A price could not be found for the selected exam. Please contact customer service for further assistance."

Anyone else getting this?

There is no official standard for the wait time. At least not yet but usually it’s at least 15 days and most the time 20.

16 calendar days from today. Your GMAC account will tell you when you can register. If you register within that window, you will get an error.

Are online scores separately sendable from test center scores? Thinking about giving the GMAT online without pressure since I've already reached my target score in person. However, I was quite shaky on the quant section which caused me to make many mistake.

I feel like its worth doing it online, what I don't want however is to not be able to keep the same state of alertness and, eventually, completely bomb the online version which could then make the test center score look like a lucky strike to schools.

Experts advice ?

I daresay the online version of the GMAT has not seen a huge increase in cheating. At least nothing so far has been reported to that effect as far as I know haha.

In this article one thing that kind of throws a little shade at the GMAT is this one line (I've not read the entire article) - "The three main standardized tests required to apply for graduate or law school are the TOEFL (if you are a foreigner), GRE, and LSAT. "

GMAT did not even get a nod!

Agreed. Based off my own ancecdotal experiences taking the online, at-home versions of both the GRE and the GMAT (my first attempt at the GMAT Online was cancelled due to my "looking off screen" before the test had even begun), it certainly feels that that the GMAT Online's proctors and policies are more strict than those for the At-Home GRE.

Wow. Interesting. Thank you for sharing! And all this time we have been praising GRE for implementing a great testing system.... 🙄🤦‍♂️

Usually what happens next is a lot of scams pop-up offering to help cheat on the exam only to take one’s money and run away. There’s nothing man can do to catch them I’ll report them really. The Perfect crime.

Ignore that link, they are just magnetic sheets.
It would be better to go to an stationary shop and buy a board convenient for you.
