Hope you are doing well. I just thought of creating a new topic for all NUS 2021 applicants so that we get to know each other.

NUS Essays


1) How do you plan to spend your time on The NUS MBA to transform yourself personally & professionally? Briefly describe your experience to date, and h0ow this and The NUS MBA can help you achieve your mid and long term career goals. (350 words / 3500 characters) *

2) How have people, events, and/or situations in your life influenced who you are today? (250 words/ 3500 characters) *

There should be no issue with starting one topic for a year later while the applications for a previous season are still open (at least I am not aware of a rule about that) :-o :blushing: :thumbsup:

Hi Siddharth,

Application round for 2020 intake is still going on. It'll end on July 15th. So the applications for 2021 intake will open in Aug end.

Application round for 2020 intake is still going on. It'll end on July 15th. So the applications for 2021 intake will open in Aug end.


Hey Chethan92. Thanks for the reply. My guess is the same as yours. I attended an NUS webinar a few days back, and in that it was clearly mentioned by the NUS admission office staff that even though the Class of 22 will start in January next year, the Class of 23 as of now will commence as usual in August.

Does anybody know how the deferral impacts class of 2021? (I heard that NUS offered deferrals to students who did not feel comfortable joining in Jan)

I'm Nick from the Philippines :)
Age: 27
GMAT/GRE Score: Taking GMAT in September
GPA / Work experience: 3.1 / 7 years
Educational Background: BS Management from top 2 school in the Philippines, I was active in extra-curricullars in college
Work: Project Management and strategy at a water infrastructure firm doing public-private partnerships
Post-MBA goals: Planning to go into public sector consulting or World Bank/ADB
Schools you are applying to: for MBA, NUS and SMU as I haven't narrowed down Tier 2 schools from the US; also trying out MPA from Lee Kuan Yew (NUS) as well. Looking for schools with sustainability/public sector practice; hoping for good recommendations as well

Admissions timeline for 2021 is now up:
ROUND 1 - 27 Jan 2021
ROUND 2 - 31 Mar 2021
