Kellogg: Calling all applicants - Class of 2016

Are the interview invitation sent out to every applicants, or selected applicants only?

Figured I'd post my video experience. My first attempt went perfectly but their system only recorded 30 seconds, my second attempt only recorded 15 seconds, and my last attempt only recorded 1 second. Did anyone have the same issue? Each attempt I did the video showed me being recorded for the full 90 seconds but didn't actually record it and each attempt reduced the actual recording time. I called the admissions office and they waved this component on my application. They said it wouldn't affect my application. What are people's thoughts on this? Anyone have experience from Round I? I'm so bummed that my first try went perfectly but didn't record the whole 90 seconds.

My questions were - What food do you like? Will you be able to eat that food everyday?, Who has been your most influential manager or leader and why?, and Tell us about the most interesting place you’ve traveled to. What did you enjoy most about it.

I mean the overall rating my boss gave me in the recommendation letter... Will that hurt?

Why would being in the top 10% be a bad thing?

If you know an alumni in your company but you have not chosen him as your recommender, can you ask him to put up some good words to the AO in your application process? Has anyone done something like that?

I applied in R2. A Kellogg alumni is a very good friend of mine . I put down his name in the subsection "Were you referred by a Kellogg graduate?" and I asked the AO, whether the reference was required to submit any kind of form or letter. I got the following response

"(Reference name) is not required to complete any forms or send any letter of reference. This question is asked for our outreach and alumni engagement purposes.

Sincerely,
Kellogg Admissions"

I am guessing that there is no place in the applicants file for any reference by an alumni (except of course if the person is one of your recommenders).

Do update here if anyone gets any other update.

How do you know what rating did he put down?

Does Kellogg have any application tracker?

Also, have any Indian applicants got off-campus interview invites for January round?

Curious to know the same. Realistically, till when does Kellogg usually send out interview invites. Only the final decision date is mentioned on the website, but no word is given on the deadline for interview calls.

Interviews coming in so fast?

My on campus interview is scheduled for Feb 8th. I just figured out that we have a deployment on the day prior to 8th and I have to be on-call on the day of interview.

Will it look bad if I call and reschedule? I checked the interview confirmation email and the email does not talk anything about rescheduling..

Anyone know if I can schedule the on-campus interview date by emailing (mbaadmissions@kellogg.northwestern.edu) instead of calling? I am scheduling a multi-city itinerary so it would help if I had time to see what's available before I confirm anything

Since the directions specifically state that you should call, I would not recommend emailing them. However, during your phone call, you could ask about availability of multiple dates.

Just had my R2 Kellogg interview. Does Kellogg release Round 2 decisions all at once, or do they release some early like UCLA?
