Are the interview invitation sent out to every applicants, or selected applicants only?

Figured I'd post my video experience. My first attempt went perfectly but their system only recorded 30 seconds, my second attempt only recorded 15 seconds, and my last attempt only recorded 1 second. Did anyone have the same issue? Each attempt I did the video showed me being recorded for the full 90 seconds but didn't actually record it and each attempt reduced the actual recording time. I called the admissions office and they waved this component on my application. They said it wouldn't affect my application. What are people's thoughts on this? Anyone have experience from Round I? I'm so bummed that my first try went perfectly but didn't record the whole 90 seconds. My questions were - What food do you like? Will you be able to eat that food everyday?, Who has been your most influential manager or leader and why?, and Tell us about the most interesting place you’ve traveled to. What did you enjoy most about it.

I mean the overall rating my boss gave me in the recommendation letter... Will that hurt?

If you know an alumni in your company but you have not chosen him as your recommender, can you ask him to put up some good words to the AO in your application process? Has anyone done something like that?
