Are you talking about round 3 application??

Open in IE and wait for few seconds. It takes a while to open.

One question guys - After this technical issue, has anyone's recommenders submitted their recommendations? Currently, I have asked my recommenders to hold. However now I am getting worried that if there is no resolution to this by say 8pm IST, I would not be able to get my recommendations submitted on time.

Yea - one of my recommenders submitted his letter in with no problems after this problem had already occurred. I also received a confirmation email that his letter had been submitted so I would just go ahead and tell your recommenders to submit.

Although my recommendations have already been submitted more than a week ago, I would suggest you ask your recommenders to go ahead and submit without waiting for this technical glitch to resolve.

The reason being all your application components get transferred automatically from one round to another in the online application. Hence, i don't think the recommendations are linked to any round, once they submit it will be recorded online and would be used for whichever round you finally submit. So if the glitch is resolved and we get to submit for Round 2 then your recommendations would be used for the same. All this is just IMO btw..

Hi Guys, I faced the same problem. Today I opened the application page and saw a message "The application for R2 is not available".... I almost had a heart attack and even cried.. I hope this is technical issue and it will soon be resolved. I mailed to Kellogg and waiting for the reply.

I emailed one of AOs and the office about 6 hours ago... Except auto-aplies, no respond yet.

The auto-reply from the AO is

"Thank you for your interest in the Kellogg MBA program at Northwestern University. The University will be closed on Monday, January 6 and Tuesday, January 7. I will have limited access to email during this time and will return your message as soon as possible.

If you need immediate assistance, please contact the Kellogg MBA Office of Admissions at 847.491.3308 or MBAadmissions@Kellogg.Northwestern.edu."

Yessss its working again :-D

I guess they must have been overwhelmed by the amount of mails they got when the office reopened.

Another piece of news -- I just called the admissions office number and automatic voice message says that the Round 2 deadline has been extended upto January 9th - 11 59 pm CST. Good for those who needed the extra time.

Guys, I also opened my application :) But I have another question. I cannot see in my "Application proof" my essays, test scores, diplomas, etc. Do you experience the same issue?

Hey guys! I cannot find the round 2 button. But, if you click the round 3, you might find round 2 is back. Hope this is helpful!

If you read the top of the application preview, it says:
Quote:
Please not the following important information as you review your application: Sections containing a large amount of narrative text may appear to be truncated in this proof:

This is a result of space limitations on this document. No text has been truncated within your application. The complete narrative text you have entered will be submitted with your application for review.

This proof is for the review of your application only. Uploaded documents such as essays, resume and transcripts are not included wtih this proof.

I think it's 5pm CST, not 11 59 pm.

Yes you are right, the changed their voice message now haha very wierd it said 11 59 pm when I called before.

Did you get any email after submitting your application. Or the confirmation is just the reference number quoted on the screen after the payment is complete?
