One question guys - After this technical issue, has anyone's recommenders submitted their recommendations? Currently, I have asked my recommenders to hold. However now I am getting worried that if there is no resolution to this by say 8pm IST, I would not be able to get my recommendations submitted on time.

Yea - one of my recommenders submitted his letter in with no problems after this problem had already occurred. I also received a confirmation email that his letter had been submitted so I would just go ahead and tell your recommenders to submit.

Although my recommendations have already been submitted more than a week ago, I would suggest you ask your recommenders to go ahead and submit without waiting for this technical glitch to resolve. The reason being all your application components get transferred automatically from one round to another in the online application. Hence, i don't think the recommendations are linked to any round, once they submit it will be recorded online and would be used for whichever round you finally submit. So if the glitch is resolved and we get to submit for Round 2 then your recommendations would be used for the same. All this is just IMO btw..

Has anyone received an answer from AdCom? I dont know how much time we should wait.

Hi Guys, I faced the same problem. Today I opened the application page and saw a message "The application for R2 is not available".... I almost had a heart attack and even cried.. I hope this is technical issue and it will soon be resolved. I mailed to Kellogg and waiting for the reply.

I emailed one of AOs and the office about 6 hours ago... Except auto-aplies, no respond yet. The auto-reply from the AO is "Thank you for your interest in the Kellogg MBA program at Northwestern University. The University will be closed on Monday, January 6 and Tuesday, January 7. I will have limited access to email during this time and will return your message as soon as possible.
