Thanks guys! It hasn't changed. The person who called me, said that they usually call a day in advance and the emails would go out tomorrow.

Just got the call from Marjorie - I am IN! (I am very glad it wasn't a FaceTime/video conference because I was doing an extremely dorky happy dance, and I think they might have reconsidered their offer of admission if they had seen it.) She confirmed that official emails will go out tomorrow. $1500 deposit due March 3; Admit Day April 22.

Wishing everyone very good luck today. And many congratulations to my fellow admits!!!

I am still in a shock. I never put so much effort in a long time, so kinda very happy. I was worried because of my 680 GMAT score, but it clearly shows that GMAT is only one of the criteria.

I remember hearing in one of their webinars 'if you got a , say 680, which is towards the middle of our 80% range , you don't have to take the GMAT again ...' , but that was after I wrote another GMAT to go from 680 to 700 :lol:

Haha. So many Haas alumni and current students told me that I have a very very strong profile, but I didn't want to believe them. ha
BTW I am an Indian Software engineer from the bay area (so typical). :)

Just got the confirmation call. As soon as I saw 510 number, my hands started to tremble. I wish good luck to all the folks waiting, hope to hear many more positives as the day goes on.

It ain't over till it ain't over :-D

I am in Indian hardware engineer from the bay area ( semi typical ? ) and I have an interview scheduled with Liz next week.

Did anyone interview with her ? how was the experience ?

Congratulations, everyone! I am a current student at Haas. Feel free to ping me if you have any questions. Very few people get in Round 1, and most of the folks get wait-listed, though they get in eventually. All in all, don't get disheartened if you are wait-listed in this round.

Please see my response yesterday on interview questions asked of me. The interview was very relaxed, no gotcha questions. I could feel that the interviewer wanted to understand how my profile is different from others applying from similar background.
