Hi,

I applied for EWMBA R3! Really hoping this works out. Does anybody know if applying this late significantly affects your admission chance versus the early the rounds?

They admit majority of the class in round 2 but if your profile is strong enough, you should be fine. They do waitlist 2nd rounders so that they compare them with round 3 applicants.

Any word on whether Haas might have a Round 4 this year?

I haven't heard/read anything about adding a round 4 this year. It's probably still too early for them to determine the need especially since R2 decisions are not even out yet. Their FAQ says, "We may continue to accept applications on a rolling basis after the final deadline, but priority will be given to those applicants who apply by the Round 3 deadline of March 9."

Just checked the website and it looks like they added a 4th round. Same decision date (6/3) as Round 3.

I heard that in previous years, Adcom had current ewMBA students call some applicants (presumably top prospects) to answer any questions the applicants might have about Haas. Did any R1 admits get a call this year and if so when?

Who knows. I highly doubt it. It could just be they haven't gotten back around to yours yet. It could be that I recently did a class visit. I know this wait sucks, but I wouldn't read too much into these little updates, they are probably just designed to let you know what someone is touching your papers that day.

i got a call from current ewmba student before i submitted my app (r3)... submitted my app on r3 deadline but nothing else happened after that...

As did I...he asked me about what other schools/programs I was looking at and how committed I was to uprooting and moving to West Coast (from East Coast). Next day I got the acceptance call.

Important to note that this was after my app submission and interview.
