They seemed very interested in me rather than just my pedigree/career/background. It is something I haven't really seen with the other schools and I think shines through in every event I have been to.

Thanks for sharing this, I got interview invitation just recently but all the interview slots were taken, I guess i'll be interviewing in early January. Did you do anything differently to prepare UCB EWMBA interview?

Not really. I definitely made sure to pay attention to the four defining principles and worked my story around those. Otherwise, I treated it like any interview and did my general research!

Has anyone received any updates after the interview? I think they would update the "Quantitative Proficiency Requirements" section at some point before the decision date.

Good call. I haven't received any updates; my "Quantitative Proficiency Requirements" section is still blank.
I do plan on calling the admissions office tomorrow regarding another matter, and will post here after my call if I get any updates that might be relevant to the group.
I am a reapplicant (for R3, Haas EWMBA) who could not make it last year. Was asked to improve my GMAT scores and get above 700. I could only manage 690 so far. What are my chances? I have 15 yrs of work experience across locations and excellent recommendations from ex/current managers. What are my chances (i am an Indian IT professional)?
I don't think any of us can answer that... Only Adcom people know what they are looking for.
I don't know anything about your profile. GMAT+GPA is only one of the 5 criteria (other 4 are: essays, community work, recommendations and leadership @ work) What was your score last year? If you made a huge improvement, then I don't see that much of a difference between 690 and 700.
As per admissions committee - We no longer employ a quantitative proficiency requirement. That being said, the admissions committee still evaluates each application for quantitative skill.
Please feel welcome to send a thank you note to your interviewer at [email protected]. We will then pass it along to him/her for review.

I note that my application status page no longer lists the "Quantitative Proficiency Requirement" at all. I assume others' have been updated as well.

Yes. It has been removed from my status page as well.

"Because of the volume of mail we receive, we cannot confirm receipt of supplemental materials. We will email you after we process your application (within 6 weeks) with confirmation on whether or not your application is complete. If it is not, we will let you know what is missing. You will have plenty of time to submit any missing materials."
Good luck to all R1 (the wait is getting shorter) & R2 applicants! I'm a R2 applicant & just submitted my application yesterday - met the deadline! . I'm just curious as to how long before you heard back from Haas again after the initial receipt email, or when the status changed from "Received" to maybe "Complete/Incomplete." I'm trying not to check for an updated status more often than necessary Do you get an email each time the status progresses? Thanks in advance for sharing!
It depends on how many applications they receive. We submitted on nov 19th and someone on this forum heard back before thanksgiving break. I got notifications (one for "application ready for review" and other one for the interview ) the week after thanksgiving break. I would say look at the previous year's thread for R2, that would give you an idea on timeline.
applied r2. got an email yesterday stating that my application is complete and is being processed for review. hopefully will hear back soon regarding an interview.

Hello, could you please share when you submitted your applications? My status hasn't changed at all but I didn't submit until the deadline. Thanks.
