Dont know what is happening with me. while attemping questions at home i am acing it but what is happening at the test.?
I had self studied for three months. I was gunning for atleast 720 to stand a chance with current applicant pool.Started with the basics and improved gradually.Solved
Og and gmatclub questions.
On gmatclub I was able to solve verbal questions with relatively good accuracy and my workbook score was 41 for verbal.I also took 800 score mocks but was ranging from 30-35 in verbal.
Then , after tweaking my strategy and learning from my mistakes I took Gmatprep1 and scored 710(v38, q48). Confident with my verbal, i started practising tough quant questions to get a score of 50-51.Practiced hard and then went for my first attempt.Gave my first Gmat on 11 dec 2017 and scored 600(49,23).Shivers went down my spine and i was hugely dissapointed.Cancelled my score and went home.
With R2 deadlines approaching i booked the exam for today i.r 31st dec and started studying hard ,focussing mostly on verbal.Gave Gmatprep2 a couple of days back after studying for 2.5 weeks.
Scored 720(q49,v39). I gave my mocks simulating actual exam.I was happy and confident this time now.
So, I have just stepped out of the center with 560(q49,v18). I was so sure that i would get atleast 35.This attempt went better than last time.I was confident and happy after verbal section.
I am shocked, dissapointed, demotivated and tired now.
I dont know what happened there.
I need help. Now that R2 deadlines are gone down the drain,i am looking forward to R3 which is 2 months away. So i have 45 days to better from v18 to 40. I am ready to give 10/12 hours a day.Ill manage with my work schedule.Thats no issue, bit V40 is what I want.
Please suggest what should I do. I am lost now.I gave my 100%. But everytime I try,I fall flat on the ground.Need some motivation and tips.
Thank you
