Hi All,

I am roughly starting Verbal SC again after a long gap of 6 months. (Background - I have been really weak on verbal and scores have been 21 to 24 till the last GMAT test which I gave in November 2018 )

During my prep last time(obviously for SC) I had started with Aristotle book - its a very nice and simple grammar book with 100s of questions; after which I had migrated to OG and then harder questions. I did not know about the Gmat Club Grammar Book then

Now I have recently downloaded it, so what should I do? Re-start SC from aristotle to brush my basics of grammar again or do the same from the gmat club grammar book?

Hi DarkHorse2019, since you mention SC as your specific area of concern, thought I would mention that our sentence correction book Sentence Correction Nirvana is perhaps the only book that offers a score improvement guarantee, and is especially designed for non-native speakers.

After reading the book twice (yes! it's an academic book, and so must be read twice in all seriousness, to reinforce the concepts), you will start looking forward to solving SC questions!

The book is available on Flipkart and Amazon.in. You might want to refer to these sites, to also read testimonials of how readers have benefited.

One can also use LSAT material for additional practice.
They have questions which are of at least 600 level.
My friend used Powerscore LSAT and scored 44 in verbal.

Hi all - I am not sure if this question has already been asked elsewhere but generally wanted to understand if it's worth buying the GMAT Official Verbal Review and GMAT Official Advanced Questions e-book and question bank or if I could actually find most of these question on the GMAT Club?

I have already finished the OG-20 for Verbal and looking for more practice material/question banks.

One more book I found helpful for RC is GMAT Reading Comprehension by Brandon Royal. It's just 40 pages long and has some excellent strategies and flowcharts. The separate book is now discontinued but Ace the GMAT in 40 Days by the same author has the exact same content for RC along with all the remaining GMAT sections.

The Kindle edition costs $4-5, I recommend checking it out for RC. Haven't studied the other topics from here but looks good at first glance.

The book is good, read it. Sometimes not big books give more knowledge than big books.
