Hi everyone!

As someone who's applying in R1 for Jan 2022 I'm looking forward to going through this experience with other applicants like me! So lets share our insights, suggestions and experiences here. With the round 1 deadline in less less than 4 days, how is the application looking? Has anyone done the video interview yet? what were the questions like

I'm planning to apply to INSEAD this year, but i'm not sure if i can make my essays ready until Friday, most likely I'll apply in R2.

I’m so over the word limit on my essays. Gah!! Why do they ask you to open up only to shut you down! I’m hustling to make it on time Friday.

I have yet to take GMAT. Do I need to take TOEFL or IELTS for Insead application.

It’s a good instinct to make sure that your essays are the best they can be. don’t take a long break, this is a very long application. And you definitely want to apply round two to receive maximum scholarship consideration

Guys how important are the video interviews? Any tips or advice? Having a tough time in the practice in gathering my thoughts and giving complete answers in a minute, as in i end up not completing what i'm saying in the time limit.. dont want to mess it up considering the amount of effort that has already gone into the other parts of the app

Thanks! Gave the interview on Wednesday, fingers crossed now. I dont think it was my best attempt but let's see hoping for the best!

Hi guys, I'm trying to record the KIRA Interview but my webcam is persistently blur.

Are the practice sessions meant to be a bit blurry instead of super sharp?

Will this affect the actual one?

Hmm. this is concerning... I've tried it connected to my LAN, as well as WIFI, and it's still blury.

Tried it on my phone, both on house WIFI and 4G, still blury :/

Maybe try a different webcam or mobile camera if that is possible. Also, I don't think the video quality would have a say in the decision. Just make sure that they can figure out it is actually you in the video :)
