If it takes 50 workers 8 hours to build a log cabin, how long would it have taken 30 workers to build the same cabin?
(A) 9 hrs 36 min.
(B) 10 hrs 24 min.
(C) 12 hrs 24 min.
(D) 12 hrs 40 min.
(E) 13 hrs 20 min.
Sol:
Total work hours=50*8=400,
So the number of hours needed =400/30=40/3=13.33=13 hours 20 min
