My Interviewer is Sharlene Bell - MBA recruitment and admissions manager, If anyone on the forum has had an interview with her would be grateful for the specific pointers- how is she like in person and what kind of answers she expects - stories or more direct answers.

I have seen a couple of her webinars but have not spoken/connected with her till date.

Wanted to Inform that I have been accepted to RSM with a dean's merit scholarship equivalent to 10% of tuition fee.

Thank you for all the tips and insights on this forum as well as the interview Debriefs.
I just wanted to know if there is an accepted students group -onwatsapp or LinkedIn for admitted candidates to get to know each other.

I too got the admit offer.

I guess the school will provide details of other candidates once you register and pay the first installment.

Hi everybody,

I also have been admitted with a small dean's merit scholarship. Thank you all for your posts and encouragement.

All in all, the admission process went very smoothly. People working at RSM are so kind and engaged, so do not hesitate to contact them before starting your application.

Today I gave KIRA test.
Q1. An incidence where I failed and what I learned from it
Q2. Mention a job where I was a teammate but not a least. What did I do and what was the outcome.
Q3. As a CEO inform staff that company will lay-off 20% employees in next 6 months.

Tomorrow, I will face the interview.

Hi everyone,

To those who have been admitted: I would like to prepare myself for the upcoming year by studying some statistics, accounting and Excel materials as I have no background at all in these areas. I sent two emails to RSM to ask if they have any recommendations for study material and whether there are any books we need to buy for next year. However, I have unfortunately not yet received a reply. Does any of you perhaps know more about this? Would be much appreciated!

Quite nervous for that, but I will do my best.

Questions asked in my Kira Assessment:
1) Tell me about a time you experienced a setback. What did you do and what did you learn from it?
2) An RSM MBA is very diverse and has people coming from various countries. How will you make the team inclusive and help those who are not interactive in the team?
3) 4) You are the CEO laying off a Director that everyone loves, due to performance. This will affect 20% of employees and the structure and management lines. Write an email to the employees informing them this

Hi ASR2021

Usually I leave to the person the decision but now I take different approach, although you might have chance to be accepted. I highly advice you to apply early next year for different reasons.

1- No chance for scholarship.

2- Most important is logistical which is critical point now. You will get accepted later and paper work and most concern now we face housing. It is the general problem most people face.

Hi Everyone,

I am submitting the video/written assessment on KIRA Platform for R5. I wanted to know if the written response can have context added by us. The suggestive questions like laying off a director may need added explanations when writing to employees. Did anyone here use context of their own or did you write generic notes and submitted the responses?

Any ideas would help.

Yes, you can add context from your own side, as long as it doesn't contradict the given question or doesn't over power it in terms of intensity. I faintly remember even the question prompt says - "Feel free to assume relevant bits of information."
