In the Question Stem, we are provided with the information that Mary takes the same route for work every day. However, we are not told if she made any stops enroute her work on Friday.

If we make an assumption that Mary did not make any stops, then both statements 1 and 2 are sufficient to answer the question.

However, if we consider the unknown of stops, then both statements are insufficient.

I have seen several 'Distance and Speed' DS official questions, where we are taking 'stops' into consideration, and marking a statement insufficient.
