Bunuel Should we assume that p can be 2 or 3? Why will 2 or 3 be equal to p and written separately?

Why would that be wrong? We are not given that N = 2^3 × 3^4 × p^2 is a prime factorization of N. Therefore, we could write N = 2^3 × 3^4 × 2^2, and it would be correct.
