If (c − d)/(c + d) = 2 and d = 1
To find: The value of c
Let us substitute the value of d=1 in the given equation
\(\frac{(c − 1)}{(c + 1)}\) = 2
\((c-1) = 2*(c+1)\)
\(c-1 = 2c + 2\)
\(-1-2 = c\)
\(c = -3\)
So the correct answer is E
