I think it means that if you didn't hear anything by yesterday that you're probably waitlisted for the summer, which I think isn't very predictable. Basically, now they'll look at people after the next deposit date. Just my thoughts though.

there will be one more round of admits after the round 3 deposit deadline... then a bunch of dings prior to the summer waitlist... my guess based on research on this board and elsewhere.

That wouldn't surprise me - bet a handful of additional calls continue to go out near-term. It gives us all a reason to remain hopeful over next couple of days.

After all that time, the adcom did not even notify you with a simple email to check your status? Wow!

Sorry it didn't work out for you guys. At least you don't have to sit in limbo over the weeks or months to come.
