I've been hearing that some people were receiving e-mail from Admissions and Financial Aid regarding MEDILL....has anybody gotten one?

But has anybody received this e-mail? I'm wondering if receiving it means something....?

I don't think the Medill email has anything to do with anything Kellogg related, much less the Kellogg waitlist or admissions to Kellogg. It's probably a result of someone un-clicking the "Please send me information on other programs..." during the application process. On another note, what days should WLers plan to hear from admissions? Thoughts on the status?

I went to visit Kellogg again a few weeks after being waitlisted, and the admissions person who took me to my class visit said that there would be people admitted from the waitlist this year. She didn't disclose how robust it would be, but I thought that was a positive sign. Also, with HBS utilizing the waitlist this year, that should be a sign that comp schools will also be utilizing the waitlist. Any other people heard similar things?

I put to you NWern WLers that which I put to the Rossies: Of those hoping to hear this week, who's sticking around if no decision comes by the end of the month? Or June? Or July?

I'll be hanging on as long as they let me. Promoted at work, so it sweetens the interim a bit. If I have to apply again this fall, (and I will be applying R1 this time around) at least I'll have some differentiable experience. At least that's what I'm telling myself.
