Interview simply started with introduction.
1) Why MBA
2) My short-term goal was strategy consulting, so she asked about transferable skills that I have and how my past experience can help me to pivot to consulting?
3) Experience of working in a diverse team?
4) TMAT when you led the team?
5) TMAT when you failed? what you learned from the experience?
6) TMAT when you managed the conflict while working in a team?
7) How will your friends and family describe you?
8) Any questions for her ( I asked 2-3 questions)
Interview was truly conversational enjoyed the whole experience.

Had my interview today with an admissions representative, it was a decently pleasant experience. It seemed like she had standard responses to give after she heard each answer, so there weren't any follow-ups and it wasn't really conversational. Interview lasted 35 mins, and she was much more conversational during the questions section at the end.
1.Why MBA and why is it right for you right now?
2.Why Kenan-Flagler?
3.What do you like and not like about working in teams?
4.TMAT you had to navigate a difficult situation where a team member is constantly late to work, not submitting projects on time, performance is slacking, etc.
5.Tell me about your biggest achievement.
6.What would be an ideal workplace environment? What kind of environment do you thrive in?
7.TMAT your received constructive criticism.
8.What 3 things do you want the Adcom to remember about you?

The interview went well but there were not the usual questions I prepared for. So at times, i fumbled with the english and grammar.
There was no 'Tell me about yourself /. Why MBA / Why UNC'.
They already had my essays and resume open on another screen. The questions asked were -
1. TMAT you had to work under time or resource Constraints.
2. TMAT you faced ethical dillema
3. What have you already done to prepare yourself for your consulting goal pre MBA.
4. Whats the one personal trait that you think a manager should have.
5. Anything else you want to highlight which is not in your resumes or essays.
6. Any questions for me.
The interviewer was polite and professional and the interview lasted full 30 minutes.

My interview was somewhat different from any of those shared here. On a number of occasions, it felt like the interviewer was trying to trick me and was impersonal and unfriendly. Considering how it went, I was not surprised by the result.
It was with a 3rd party interviewer, as all KF interviews seem to be. They didn't really describe their connection to UNC and began asking questions after a 30-second introduction.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Why MBA?
- What professional achievement are you most proud of?
- What has helped you navigate differences in opinion in the workplace?
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with conflict at work. How did you resolve it?
- What is something that you've recently learned about yourself?
- Is there anything else that you'd like to share which we haven't covered?
The interview ran for 32 minutes and I wasn't allowed to ask any questions.

Similar interview to the other debriefs shared. Interview went for sharp 30 mins.
- Tell me about yourself
- Short-term and Long-term Goals
- Why Kenan-Flagler. Why MBA now?
- How will you contribute to the development of UNC?
- TMAT challenging situation of handling a team
- TMAT your biggest achievement
- TMAT your received constructive criticism
- Do you have any questions for us
Some of these questions are follow-ups based on prev. answers.

No need to stress out much. It's just a conversation. I prepared a lot based on all interview debriefs but none of that was asked to me.
But still if anyone wants to know -
1. What is the difference in roles and responsibilities in you previous and current organization? How both of these are different ? (Background - Previous organization - Consulting and current organization - Insurance brokerage firm)
2. Are there any changes in responsibilities of your role in current organization after you joined ? (Background - Based on one my essay answer)
3. What do you do to blow off steam ? What do you do to have fun?
4. Have you tried to influence working environment at your current organization based on your long consulting experience? How was it ?
5. What is your working style with your colleagues ? How work is divided?
6. What type of strategic or decision making roles you have been ? Any time when you have to present data to senior leadership?
Then she gave me some time to ask any questions. I asked few questions related to DBI and STAR program which I had in my mind.

2. Why did I study Business Administration in my undergrad - Why Loyola - How was the experience - Did you have any major in your undergrad
3. Did you always know you wanted to pursue the world of business ? Whats the source of trigger on this
4. Why MBA ? - While answering this , i also indicated why i wanted to study at UNC
5. Explain what makes you a good leader - How would you deliver negative feedback to your team ?
6. Walk me through your professional career till date
In the middle candidly spoke about my career aspirations (ST and LT) - So the question of whats my ST and LT was covered automatically.

What questions do you have for me?

Similar interview to the other debriefs shared. Unsure if the interview was with adcom, alumni, or a representative of UNC. They try to keep things to 30 minutes, wrapped up at approx. 35 min. Lots of focus on behavioral questions. Be prepared to potentially elaborate on some of your responses in a follow-up question.
- Why MBA, why Kenan-Flagler
- Post-graduate goal (are you interested in general consulting or healthcare consulting?)
- What are some qualities that make you a good team member
- Give an experience from working in a team
- What is your greatest personal achievement
- What are some of your values
- What is one thing that you recently have thought about regarding improving your personal character
- What are some things that you would like for adcom to know about you
