I just had my interview with a 2nd year student standard questions from the debriefs -introduce yourself, -why mba, -short term long term -why owen -weaknesses and what are you trying to do to improve them -on what basis do you decide which college you want to pursue an mba at -tmat you potrayed leadership -what do you do in your free time -ended with me asking 2-3 questions was not as conversational as others mentioned, no follow ups questions - interviewer was just taking notes

I noticed that most people seem to have interviewed with second-year students; however, my interview was with an admissions committee member. Did anyone else interview with them? The interview was fairly short—around 20 minutes—and felt less conversational. The questions were quite generic, and the interview felt a bit rushed. 1. Why MBA? 2. Why Owen? 3. Short-term and long-term plans? 4. Major considerations in finalizing a school? 5. TMAT when you had problem with adjusting to a new situation/ place? 6. Any questions from your side. I also couldn’t really gauge reactions from the interviewer, as her expressions were quite neutral throughout.

Just got done with the interview. ~26 mins.. Was super chill. They introduced themselves and then asked to do the same. Why MBA? Why now? Why Owen? TMAT about leadership. How would you contribute to the classroom.? Any questions from you? (I asked 4). I think I botched the leadership question. I gave an irrelevant answer. Started in a way I shouldn't have and continued to blabber since there was no going back🥲 Other than that It was super well...🤞

Its a 2nd year student. I had my interview at 7:30 IST and was told 2 hrs before who my interviewer is. Beware, the link is not for zoom or teams, but rather on the Vandi website itself. And the interview is only 30 mins, and they want to take you thr all the questions. Keep your introduction very limited/ brief. I didnt realize this and messed up my interview here.

I had mine yesterday. I felt the interviewer was very warming. At some point, it was surprising and very delightful. Basic ques mostly conversational bonding re goals hobbies why mba why owen. Interviewer also asked me to connect on linkedin and keep him posted of the results. Its more of a natural building of conversation (though you have to prep for sure) rather a typical interview

I did my interview recently for round 2. There was only one true STAR question about a time I learned a new skill. They also seem to care about diversity- they asked what I would contribute to the community and then what I would gain from the diverse community. Also followed up with what I’ve learned the past from experiences where I’ve been around people different than me. Overall, it was not nearly as bad as I was expecting! I was nervous but the student was so nice and personable. Most of the questions were pretty standard. One thing to note- the platform they used was different than just plain old Zoom and I couldn’t figure out how to blur my background when I logged on. It might have been an option, but I couldn’t sit there and mess with it. I would try to keep that in mind and have a clean background in case you can’t get it to blur!

Tell me about yourself ? why owen ? Your short and long term goals? If your colleague were to say your weakness what will it be? What can you contribute to the owen community? I used the star method to answer my questions. It was a conversational interview. Try to tell them about your interest to because we bonded on that . My interview lasted 45 to 50 mins . Draw emphasis on why Owen relating it to your goals. He also ask me what can I gain from owen Try and make your answers not generic to . One the current students I reached out to said it also helps when you refer a current student you spoke to and if you attended an info session to try and add that it. That was the advice she gave me Try not to make your answers to generic as well . My interview was conducted with a second year student. 23-25 min long. It was a very friendly and conversational. The interviewer was chilled out. Started with interviewer's introduction!
