How many months of preparation is required to crack 700+ score? Do you know any institute which are great in verbal and quant?

Hi pg19,

That's OUTSTANDING news! A 740/Q48 is an outstanding score (it's well above the 90th percentile overall), so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you! You also seem to understand the value of a strong OVERALL application, which is good. Beyond that point, you also have to make sure that you 'market yourself' correctly to each of the individual Schools that you plan to apply to. You have a GMAT score that will make all of those Schools happy - now you just have to make sure that you properly sell yourself in your applications.

1) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
2) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Rich,

Thanks! I graduated about 6 months ago, so I don't plan on applying for another 2-3 years, or at least until Business School makes sense in the context of my career trajectory. Regarding your second question, I am planning to apply to HBS, GSB, Kellogg, and Chicago.

Hi pg19,

Studying for the GMAT now, and 'locking in' a fantastic GMAT score, was a really smart choice on your part. Now you can plan to gain the necessary/appropriate Work Experience to bolster that aspect of your applications. If you have a clear idea of the career path that you want to be on, you might also be able to reach out to established professionals in your field of interest - in that way, you can seek out advice and perhaps find a 'mentor' who can help guide you along the way. Congrats again on all of your success so far!
