If 5^6x = 125,000
What does 5^(2x-1) equal?

I know this problem has been posted before, but I printed it out and now I can't find the explanation anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sorry, 5^(6x) / 5^3 does not equal to 5^2x

5^6x = 5^2x*3 = (5*10)^3
=> 5^2x = 5*10
=> 5^2x/5 = 10
=> 5^2x-1 = 10

cuberoot this 5^6x = 5^2x*3 = (5*10)^3 on both sides

to give 5^2x = 5*10
