If 3*a = 0 then a has to be zero.

So, 8a = 6b = 0, hence b must also be zero.

So, a = b.

Asked: If 8a = 6b and 3a = 0 then

3a=0 => a=0
8a=8*0=0=6b=> b=0
a=b=0
a & b are equal

given
4a=3b ;
a=0
so b=0
hence a=b=0

If 8a = 6b and 3a = 0 then

3a=0 => a=0
8a=8*0=0=6b=> b=0
a=b=0
a & b are equal

Since \(3a = 0\) ; \(a = 0\)

Now, \(8a = 6b = 0\). Thus, \(b = 0\), Answer must be (A) a and b are equal

Since 3a = 0, then a = 0, and 8a = 0. Thus, 0 = 6b, and b = 0.

Answer: A

A could be 1/3 also. And there is no prof that A or B has to be integer. Where am i wrong? I got answer C.
