I submitted my application. But one of my recommenders is yet to submit recommendation. I am expecting him to submit today. i.e January 06th...will my application be pushed to round 3 because of this ?

Has anyone received an interview invite for the second round yet (1/5 deadline)? A friend of mine already got an interview email and she submitted 1/5. I haven't received anything so I am nervous already lol

I received an invite today too! I'm in NY and it seems like the AO will be in NY next week, possibly why the interview invites came out so quickly....

I hope not. I had the same situation. At most schools, it only seems to matter when your application is submitted.

No, they wnt shift it to R3; however, for ur peace of mind, get in touch with adcom ppl and explain the situation.

It seems like the timing that Kelley sends out the interview requests doesn't correlate with the quality of the application. Can anyone who was accepted round 1 confirm? I also submitted my complete application on Jan 5, but am based out of nearby Shanghai, China.

Hello,

I do not know if the timing of the interview request has anything to do with the quality of the application. My experience was that after I submited my application (about 1 or 2 days prior the due date), I received the interview invite in the next week.

I am an international student, so another option is that time of the interview correlates with the fact if you are an international student or from the USA.

It appears that those apps which have been reviewed and have people in cities where the adcom is visiting in the coming weeks, have been invited. They are still going through the others, so if the AOs are in your city but you haven't heard yet, it just means that your application is still moving through the pile.

Hi Everyone! I'm new to this whole GC thing, but I hope to be more active :-D

I applied to Kelley on Jan 5th. Got an interview invite on Jan 8th. But like others have said in before, I think its because they have someone visiting my city for the insidethemba.org fair. I have my interview next week, anyone have any tips or know what has been asked?

i understand that kelley reps are in delhi on 28th and 29th. My friend got a interview invite today eve but i haven't. We both are from Delhi. Does this mean that i am not shortlisted. Nervous and disappointed.

My interview was fairly conversational. The questions asked were the usual - Why MBA? Short term/long term goals, extra-curriculars, work experience, etc.
Brad did not take my interview. But from last year's thread, it looks like he takes interviews of a similar kind.
