I was just checking the tracker, seems that a couple of folks have already been interviewed, and a few have got the invitations already.
I'm guessing the invites go out in a staggered manner?

I opted to interview before I submitted my application. Those who chose to do the same may be skewing the interview numbers in the tracker, if you are assuming they were by invitation after submitting their application.

Rakesh, I think you should compare yourself with the class profile of the class matriculating in 2013.

What you have mentioned is just numbers. There is more to it. Your complete application would determine your chances. So although you have just 1 year of work ex as of now, but you can back it up with a real solid application. Think about it.

Dont worry...there is nothing that a long interview signifies.He took a longer interview for me just because we started early. I am sure yours also went well..dont jump to conclutions before the results.

Hey Siddharth,

I'm a current 2nd year student who was interviewed by a second year student over Skype. Its true that second years are not a part of the admission committee, but they do provide a comprehensive feedback after the interview which carries equal weight as an interview with somebody from Adcom. Admission decision as well as scholarships are decided on basis of your complete profile and interview constitutes a part of it. There is no significant advantage to candidates who interviewed in person over the candidates who were interviewed over Skype.

Many have got interview calls, because when I requested for an afternoon interview slot, I was not able to get one because it were taken.

Attended the Kelley Small Group Dinner in DC last night and met people from the Admissions office at Kelley. They left from here to go to India and I was told that they have tried to invite "some of the people" - only those whose application they have had time to go through. He reminded me that its been just 10 days since the round deadline

. He also assured me that it is possible that people will continue getting invites as close as two weeks to the decisions date. Yes, from India too. So even if you haven't heard until pretty late, as far as Kelley goes, there is still hope.
