Marshall 2013 (USC) - Calling All Applicants

I uploaded ALL of my essays (each separated by the essay question in bold) as one PDF document to the "Program-Specific Essays" portion of the "Essays & Documents" section of the online application. This didn't cause any errors on my side and the final application that was produced seemed to be formatted just fine.

I got an MBA.PM video interview email..I thought they stopped those this year. Not sure I'm going to do it.

No , they did not stop the video interviews this year , everyone who applied for PM got the invite and it says its optional ( should have a deadline as well).

How are the round 1 interviews, round 2 applications and the all around waiting games coming along??

For all those who have already submitted their applications, please keep us posted on your admissions progress. Quick write ups summarizing your interview experiences (interview format, questions asked, general mood, etc), application updates (interview invites, final decisions, scholarship offers, etc) and any other news or helpful info uncovered from speaking with the admissions department or students is all extremely valuable insight. This info is beneficial not only for current applicants but also for applicants in future rounds as well as future admission seasons.

Does anyone know if MBA.PM will be calling admits this week for those that applied in November?

When I talked with an admissions officer after I got waitlisted, I got the impression January would be a little later because of the holidays. I'm thinking next week at the earliest. Just what I gathered.

Kyle--for us waitlisters--when you called did you ask how they will notify waitlisters? Meaning, do you think they will notify every month at the same time as when they release new decisions? Good luck btw, let's hope we get some movement.

Have any more interview invites come out since the first batch on December 7th?

Don't know... I applied in November, so I'm waiting for my response.. I hope I get admitted today as it would make for a more pleasant weekend.

I just spoke to Kelly at USC. She was very polite, she looked up my file (Nov Applicant), and she stated that decisions will be out by the end of the week. From the sound of her voice it sounded like there was already some sort of decision in my file. However, I couldn't tell if it was good or bad for me.

This all sounds very positive to me. Would Kelly be so helpful, polite and suggestive that your decision has been made if she was looking at a bad result? Then again, the Marshall adcom has always been very pleasant to deal with... Hopefully, your waiting game will come to an end with some good news by Friday!

congrats racer! $2500! geez.

Can someone who has already submitted help me out- I am applying before the Jan 15 deadline and wanted to know if my recommenders can upload and sumbit a consolidated recommendationrather than answer each question individually. anyone have any insight?
