Marshall 2013 (USC) - Calling All Applicants

I do not believe so for a couple reasons. I went to the information session the other night and they said those in the first group would find out "the first week" of December. Also, the optional video interview says they are due by November 30th - would find it hard to believe they would make any announcements before reviewing all the video interviews. But I could very well be wrong.

Sigh. The MBA Application essays. Who thought it was a good idea to ask people to write 2000 words before they even get INTO school? Turns out, it doesn’t matter, because someone did… and now you have to come up with the most compelling and memorable essays about leadership that you can. And then do it again for every school you apply to.

It’s not easy, but this upcoming event should help. Submit your MBA Application essay to have an opportunity to have it reviewed for free by the team at Admissionado. Three essays will be selected, and if you are one of the lucky ones, you will have the opportunity to go through your essay with Phillip Herring (admissions expert and CBS MBA) in a live session. You will need to be OK with sharing your essay with attendees (don’t worry – we’ll keep your name/private info out of it), and available and online at the time of the event to chat it up with Phillip. I submitted my app in early November for MBA.PM and I have not heard anything other than the email with my USC ID Number. I'm not sure if I'll hear this month or next; I'm certainly anxious though.

In as well for the Saturday cohort. Would be commuting from
Portland so need to think about the every Saturday commute. Deposit due mid-Jan.

Congrats, guys!! I haven't heard anything yet. I'm still holding out hope, although I am behind the average on work experience, so I'm thinking this might not be my year.

Don't worry SLR... If you submitted when you said you did then your admissions outcome will be be known soon. Maybe it's just one admin officer on the phone all day notifying people and he couldn't get to everyone. I wouldn't worry.[/quote]

my status changed from "complete and under review" to just "submitted" a couple days ago when other guys did as well. Reading last years Anderson thread, it looks like I/we might find out a day or so before the deadline (12/12/2012). How you doin'? Anything good?

I concur with this comment... I wouldn't be surprised if UCLA calls you on Friday (Before the deadline) to let you know that you got in. I mean, would two work days really make an difference in their decision?

I wish I could at least get a decision from USC. Did anyone hear today?

My Anderson application status changed to submitted on Nov 30th , and received an email to schedule interviews on that weekend or so. After that it has not changed and no calls so far.

Berkeley side I got a call for an on campus interview , need to take an appointment for the same.

SLR, It's looking like we aren't going to hear anything from USC. With your application date, you would think they would have notified you... So much for the Dec. 1 notification date.

Do you know if USC waitlists? I haven't seen anything in any forums regarding it.

Don't know if they waitlist. You're right--I submitted 10/4 so I fully expected to hear something in the first batch of notifications.
