Hey guys. I got waitlisted. Any suggestions for what I should do next? USC is my first and only choice, so I'm really hoping I can make it in. Anyone know the chances to get off the waitlist?

First, don't panic. Waitlist is way better than "Thanks but you're not what we're looking for." Second, ask them if retaking the GMAT would make a difference. This is really the only thing you can change on your app at this point. Also, someone I know was accepted to UCLA from the waitlist after UCLA recommended that they retake the GMAT. (Not sure if you took the GMAT, I see a GRE Score next to your info... this really is the only thing that can be changed now). Third, if they say 'yes' then schedule another GMAT and study like you've never studied before. If they say 'no' then don't panic because waitlist is way better than "Thanks but you're not what we're looking for."
