I am not sure about supply chain, but Carlson would place better than Olin into consulting. WUSTL is a very well regarded undergrad and Olin is a consistently better ranked B-school than Carlson. So, it has a better reputation, but you really need to dig into the employment statistics and talk to current students to see which is a better fit. This is also not considering $$ awarded at each.

Carlson sends a higher % of people into consulting and shows a higher median base. Its definitely worth talking to students imo. Like I said, Olin is definitely a better regarded program, so if you happen to change your mind halfway through, you'll likely be better off there.

Hey Lafayette88,

Congarts for these admits. I guess you will get a generic answer of choosing the school based on your career goals. Owen has moved up in US news rankings recently just next to Olin. Curriculum wise also both schools are the same (employment reports state almost equal number of people in different domains, though Owen has a slightly better compensation approx ~ 4-5k). Just going though your profile thumbnail, I noticed you mentioned Entrepreneurship as your career goal. I would suggest you should check how may Incubators/startups work alongside the students in these campuses how is the culture in general.

I know a bit about Olin - where through CEL you can work with T-Rex. Y-Combinator also now has some presence on the WashU campus.

Their rankings are pretty similar but obviously it all depends on your concentration and goals too. Apart from them, you can also think location-wise. Nashville as a city I think is more interesting than St. Louis?

It's been unusually silent here. I'm a R3 applicant who got an interview invite late into the R3 window, and interviewed on the 25th. Standard questions, as everyone said. It went okay, but I also have a feeling I bombed it. I really want to get in. Fingers crossed.
