Do they get penalized? Have you ever seen a real case?

I actually sent the links in the application, mentioning it is currently offline. I have tons of emails and my former partners' references. I even have a legal entity I opened at the time but never used that I haven't closed until today. Would that be enough?

Quick question here.

On my resume, I changed my current title to something more general for my industry (as my company is quirky and calls it something specific). Wondering if there will be any raised eyebrows (If accepted) if Kroll calls and my employer gives the quirky title.

what if you worked with two companies that have now ceased to exist? what info can they get?
and what if you worked for a company without a proper contract...i mean i still got paid, but there wouldn't e a paper trail...

I had a similar question to this one. How do they verify if you yourself were sick and had to take time off of work? and secondly, if you wrote you left a company because "it was downsizing", that is conveying a lay-off right? I want to be clear what happened without drawing unnecessary negative attention to it. My HR has corroborated this with me and will be explaining it as a lay-off due to downsizing. Finally, one of the reasons I left one of my companies was because I needed a company that would sponsor my visa. This is what I explained in my application but not to my manager at the time, who thinks I left for different reasons. I couldn't tell him the truth because I thought he wouldn't understand so do you think this may be an issue too? It was a four month employment block out of my 4 years of employment

Question here. Nobody seemed to have mentioned undergraduate internships and research programs (a large number of them are unpaid nowadays). Does Kroll care to check those? For unpaid internships, you literally didn't through the HR process and have no formal supporting document. If anyone listed his/her/their college jobs/internships/work study/research, did Kroll ever contact you to verify those? It would be an absolute pain to dig up documents and files from 5-10 years ago...

I listed almost everything I did since high school. There are over 10 employers... Will they contact each of them? If so, I should start retrieving lost contacts and files starting from today.

I would appreciate any of your advice and help.

Can anyone explain their experience going through this process?

How many employers will be checked (let's assume that you entered 10+).

Will high school and college part time jobs be checked?
