Hello,

I have submitted bunch of apps over R2 with a 710. Though I feel I have slight chances to getting a scholarship on that score, therefore considering a retake. However, I would like to retake only after around 1.5 months.

My question is, are schools open to accept updated scores if a decision, about admit or a scholarship, has been made?

Please respond if you have any experience with this or know of a candidate who has successfully done it. It would really help in making a decision.

gmatenthureturns I think you should contact the schools. I see no reason why you can't update your application with a higher score but they are in the best position to advice you.

Thank you funsogu for your advice. I feel like I should contact adcoms before starting to prepare for a retake.

Any one else with any suggestions/comments. Your response will go a long way to make a decision, and soon!

Hi gmatenthureturns,

Many Schools are open to receiving "updates" to an application (such as a higher GMAT Score, Work promotion, award/achievement, etc.). Since you've already submitted your applications, you should contact each School directly and ask about their policies.
