Anybody else still waiting for the red X to go away in on portal for background check? Mine should be done because my employer and recommenders were contacted like 2 weeks ago but I've gotten no update

Mine should be fine too as Re Vera said they finished and sent off to Fuqua for final review but my red X has been there for almost 3 weeks. Same for my MBA math submission and haven’t received the admit package either.

Guess there might be some delays in the office?

Where are you guys seeing the background check/Re Vera requirement? I don't see it in my Admit Checklist.

Good to know. Did they also ask you to send the transcripts directly to them? I always thought Re Vera did the transcripts verification. Strange.

Posting this in a few places, but wanted to make sure R2/future applicants saw:

I got the admit call yesterday (super excited!) and they talked about how happy they were to extend an acceptance, but zero mention of any scholarship in the call. I assumed that I didn't get any, based on others experiences (who heard about scholarship in the admit call), but when I got an email with a portal update I found out that I actually received a pretty sizable merit scholarship. No idea why it wouldn't have been mentioned in the call, but if Fuqua doesn't mention it in the initial call, there is still hope!! :)

Did you call re vera? I've been meaning to call but the portal says "Please do not contact either Re Vera Services or The Fuqua School of Business inquire about the status of your verification." So a bit confused, definitely dont want to piss them off.
