I have heard from someone that they do not offer scholarships to people coming from competitive backgrounds because they know you will join because of binding condition. And scholarships can be used to bind others with non-binding clause.
I can be 100% wrong, but it sounds logical to me (in business sense)
I don’t think so. If someone who is competitive is admitted inEA,school is afraid that the applicant will choose other schools in the same round. So,the program is greatly likely to offer the scholarship to attract the person.
Posted from my mobile device[/quote] yeah darden also releases their decisions this week. its possible that last year lot of indians went to darden in spite of binding duke admits, that’s why they must have given admits to so many indians. just a possibility.
