any Indians who earned more than 25lpa got scholarship? just curious whether the binding round scholarships are merit-based or need-based.
I have heard from someone that they do not offer scholarships to people coming from competitive backgrounds because they know you will join because of binding condition. And scholarships can be used to bind others with non-binding clause.

I can be 100% wrong, but it sounds logical to me (in business sense)

I don't think so. If someone who is competitive is admitted inEA,school is afraid that the applicant will choose other schools in the same round. So,the program is greatly likely to offer the scholarship to attract the person.

Posted from my mobile device[/quote] yeah darden also releases their decisions this week. its possible that last year lot of indians went to darden in spite of binding duke admits, that’s why they must have given admits to so many indians. just a possibility.

Can someone provide some resource to guide through Fuqua’s waitlist process? Like what steps should we take next?

Looks like 20+ are already selected

Woah! That seems incredibly high. The decision tracker seems to have only 9 though, I thought it would be around that somewhere around 10-12.

Agreed, Is this the usual trend? Any way we can check how many got admitted last time around in EA?? With every additional admit entry from an indian in the decision tracker, hopes for my R1 are going down

There are 8 admits from EA and 3 admits for R1 in the decision tracker of last year for Indians, so looks like this is the usual trend! didn’t realise R1 rates dropped so drastically for Indians!

I think comparison to last year might not be as accurate, considering the deferrals and the general scare among people.. last year things were different than usual

Next year is going to be equally competitive.. the number of deferrals in the pipeline.. will definitely take another year to clear out

so life ain’t getting any easier if this year doesn’t work out

Folks who got in, how are you pulling out your application from other schools? Do emailing to admissions email ids of respective schools work?

even I’m in that confusion. Others let us know what’s the process. Can we wait for other interviews or do we need to withdraw straight away?

I opted for binding. But I still want to how it goes with other schools. I applied for Yale, Darden, ross, McDonough all in R1 waiting for interview invites.
