from what i know is, once you get in into the binding school, you need to send an email to the admissions of the other schools requesting to withdraw your application...you may wait until you receive your interview or not, it is left to you as long as you dont violate the Binding round assuming for some reason you want to violate, for example you get into yale and want to join yale instead of duke (which you should not morally and legally), talk directly to duke admissions.. being transparent is a bliss... but as a general rule, never apply to a school in the binding round if its not your choice 1 but I dont know what happens if someone applies to Duke ED and CBS ED...ideally one shouldnt do this.. but if someone does it and gets in both schools, then what are the consequences (idk!)

yield rate of EA rounds is at 80-90% for cbs and duke. There will always be people who will break the ea binding.

Exactly! I just sent an email giving my name and the date I submitted my application, said I’d like to withdraw my application and asked what steps I needed to take. They were all very nice and respectful in response, some asked for reasons or if there’s anything they could do to persuade me, but overall was super easy Posted from my mobile device
