anyone received R1 interview invites yet? or does anyone know up to which time period the invites will be sent out ? since as per website the deadline is "by 8th nov" so does that mean if I’m not getting any interview invite by then that means I’m rejected already ?

why do some people get invited to the symposium and not others;

does that mean those that get invited to symposium have a better chance when applying

You have to apply for the symposiums that has its own essays and you get invited upon selection.

Your symposium essay and application essay are two different things and has no connection whatsoever.

It works if you open it through the slack link towards the end of the landing page!
