Hi everyone!
I am happy to announce that I have finally made it to INSEAD's MiM'27 program.
Background:
India
23F
UG: Christ University (Communication & Media, English, Psychology) | CGPA: 3.4/4 | GMAT FE - 655
1 year of workex at MSLGroup
Workgap of 6 months for GMAT prep and college applications
Ongoing marketing job at a known firm till program starts
Desired career: Marketing
Strengths: Public Speaking, Psychology
I have seen a variety of posts ranging from how INSEAD gives insane name, prestige and global connections TO how MiM is a waste of time. I am beyond that point now and instead of dwelling over whether this decision will be a disaster, I want to put in my efforts towards ensuring that I do whatever is in my control to excel and get the most out of the progam with a well-paying job. While INSEAD MiM alumni are not many, I am eager to hear from other MiM and MBA candidates (From INSEAD or otherwise) on how I can do my best.
I will be working towards my French B2 diploma before the degree begins. (I have a B1 diploma).

Congratulations Nonbiryani, on your acceptance to INSEAD MiM’27! That’s a great achievement, and it’s nice to see you already thinking ahead about how to maximize your experience and career outcomes. Since marketing is your target field, it's important to proactively build your profile, as INSEAD MiM is still gaining traction with recruiters outside of consulting and finance. Leverage the INSEAD Career Development Centre early, engage with marketing-focused clubs, and start networking with both MiM and MBA alumni in your industry, try attending as many AMA sessions/ webinars it shall help you connecting with more relevant people, gaining insights. Your decision to pursue a French B2 diploma is a smart move, as it will open up more job opportunities in European markets, particularly in luxury, FMCG, and international marketing firms. INSEAD’s global brand and network provide immense value, but for MiM, you will need to take an active role in networking, gaining industry exposure. Stay proactive, make the most of INSEAD’s resources. Wishing you the best for your future journey!
