Hi All,
I took the GMAT a few weeks ago and scored 660 (44Q37V). This was BEFORE the test was modified with the new IR section. I was hoping I would do well enough that I would never have to worry about IR. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I think the test was an anomaly for me compared to all of the previous practice tests. Range of scores using GMAT and MGMAT was from 690 to 760. Average was 43Q44V.
I have to re-take it. I figure I need to review/practice for Quant and Verbal again, but now, I will need to start prepping for IR as well.
My question is, given my current situation, what is the best way to prep for re-taking it? I have used OG 11th edition and MGMAT 4th edition.
Questions:
1) Should I purchase OG 12th and MGMAT 5th? Are there enough differences to warrant the extra expense?
2) How should I approach IR? I am thinking of purchasing the MGMAT single IR book. What book should I use for practice then? Any suggestions on IR prep would be VERY helpful.

Well, as you know, practicing with OG is very helpful because the question are written by the same group of people. In that way, you could certainly benefit from both OG 12 and OG 13. However, I personally think MGMAT 4th Ed. is more than adequate.
Finally, I have experimented a little with IR and my take is that it requires 1 day of preparation, if that. Looking forward to see other opinions on this matter.
