I have an android today, but there are no good gmat-apps to it.
Should I consider buying an ipad to fully benefit from the various gmat tools?

How about use that money to buy hard copy GMAT reviewers instead?

An iPad costs what? $500 dollars right?

You could already buy the entire MGMAT guide, 3 OG's, Kaplan 800, Powerscore CR Bible with $500.

The above-mentioned combo will get you at least a 600. :)

(how about some koooodowz?:))

I completely agree with gmatsaga on this. GMAT apps should not be the sole or even main reason to spend hundreds of dollars on an Apple product. And Walker's reply makes the case against such a purchase even stronger. Reputable guidebooks, the OG, GMATClub tests, and Sackmann's math sets would be better purchases.

I did.

I figured, I get to keep the iPad after. If I spent the money on books/courses/etc, it's gone for good.

The thing is, if I get an Ipad. I will be able to practice 24/7 anywhere, anytime.
On the bus to uni, on the bus from uni, while eating lunch or over all killing dead time anywhere. Imagine how much extra practice I would get from that, instead of buying tons of extra practice books that I anyway wont have time to go over when it all comes down.

If you have an iPad or decide to get one, you can download the "GMAT Pill HD" iPad app free of charge. The free version includes some 30+ free videos and the paid version includes some 500+ course videos.

You'll be able to download videos and watch them on-the-go without WiFi or an internet connection.

For more info on how to download it, go to: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat/download-g ... -ipad-app/

Is the content in the paid version of the GMAT Pill app the same as the content on the website?

PS - The iPad is awesome for studying. It's really easy to carry when studying. The screen on the iPod touch will hurt your eyes after awhile.

If you can afford it without emptying your pockets, if you know you can use it after the gmat for other things and if you realize that you will still have to buy also the OG and other guides, then go for it.

Right now there is something for the android, like the official gmac app, magoosh, some flashcard apps and very little else. I usually use them while in the car. YouTube also proved very helpful to me (OG full explanations, Thursdays with Ron and others).

Yes, a paid GMAT Pill membership will give you access to all the paid areas of the GMAT Pill HD iPad app. The instructional video content is the same as the members only area. They include both core frameworks and questions/explanations. They also include 100+ integrated reasoning videos along with an upcoming upgrade to the CR collection.

Note that all the known bugs will be fixed in v1.1 - which will be available by the end of next week.
